I am looking to be tutored in learning the Russian language. I live in the Placer County area near Sacramento, CA. and want to have several in-person lessons per week. I am engaged to a Russian woman who has very little English skills so I need to find us a happy medium. My tutor does not have to have certified teaching credentials; just the ability to instruct me on every day conversation in the Russian language.

Hello,
I am a beginner for Mandarin Chinese. I studied by books and computer for about a year 5 years ago and I would like to return to my studies, but I need guidance and practice. Ever since the 8th grade in junior high school my passion for learning other languages is growing. I speak Russian fluently and am currently studying Spanish. (Self taught by books) I really enjoy learning foreign languages because I can help more people. In the future I would like to be an ESL (english as a second language) teacher. I have volunteered many hours at an adult education school and I have noticed that people appreciate my help and I enjoy helping them. I study foreign languages about 40 hours a week. I read flash cards as I travel, work, eat,etc. I only looking for a teacher who will push me to learn even faster.

I want to learn Russian in order to go to the Ukraine and teach English. I don't know any Russian currently. I need to work and learn Russian so I'd probably be able to dedicate 5-10 hours a week to learning the language. I need a teacher that will push me to talk. I'm pretty shy but I really would love to be able to converse in Russian in the Ukraine.
