I studied Mandarin for 4 years in college, and lived in Shenzhen for a year. I just came back to the States to work and want to keep up my Mandarin proficiency!
I would prefer a teacher who wants to engage in cultural activities during our lessons. I am on a budget, so the lower the cost the better. I would like to spend 2-4 hours a week on lessons, focusing on conversation, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation .

I am a beginner at chinese,manda rin. I am studying at college and finding that I am not grasping the language as quickly as I would like. I am hoping to travel to china one day and that is why I am learning mandarin. In chinese and japanese, I am a beginner. I know nothing in those languages. I am a beginner to Mandarin, although I have been to China twice now and have been told (by native Mandarin speakers) that I pick the language up very well.

My husband and I would like to learn Chinese. He works with his office in China regularly. I am a realtor and have a couple of Chinese clients.
W e are both beginnings with no prior knowledge of Mandarin. Basically, we would like to learn conversationa l Mandarin.
If my husband and I were to have classes together, what would be the cost as a couple? We are both beginners. The cost will determine how often our lessons will be.
