I am a professional and I would like to learn Chinese Manadarin (no prior knowledge).
I have a (very!) busy work schedule and travel a lot, so I would need private lessons with a teacher that can have flexible working hours (i.e., week late evenings, weekends) and is resilient to last minute changes of schedule or possible cancellations .

Hello,
My wife and I have recently moved back from Japan (3.5 years) and are interested in continuing our Japanese studies. We have past the level three Japanese language proficiency test and hope to continue to improve our Japanese language skills.
We would like to study for 1 or 1.5 hours a week with a teacher either at our house or at the teachers. In addition to the study time we can set aside 1 hour a week for study time.
We are looking for a teacher who likes to communicate, about life, themselves, Japan, etc.

- completed spanish as a second language from grades 9 through 12
- passed the spanish provincial with an exam mark of 86%
- overall class grade averaged as 92%
- overall final grade: 90%
- took both french and spanish throughout highschool, (although spanish was not inthe school cirriculum gor grade 8's) and I plan to persue a degree requiring both languages at UBC.
- I would like to improve my application skills through my reading comprehension , as the provincial is more on a communicative basis. I would like to focus on my learning for the upcoming re-write in AUGUST 19, 2004, so i can IMPROVE MY EXAM MARK IN ORDER TO RECIEVE THE BC PROVINCIAL SCHOLARSHIP EXAM. i was 15points away, and i would be absolutely grateful if we could concentrate on strategies to succesfully passing the next provincial with a higher mark, and also reviewing the grade 12 cirriculum (ie: verb tenses ideally taught, vocabulary, idomatic expressions.. )
- the more detailed the tutoring is, the more confident i will feel. I woudl also like to recieve a few assignments in which allows me to improve specifically for the exam. marking the assignments and going over the errors or problems with you notice from my works.

I took High school level german and desire to be fluent in this language. I feel I am at the beginner's level. I love the german language and desire to learn it more than anything else. I can dedicate any amount of time to learning german, I feel the more time I dedicate to it, the better I will get.
