I have a business assignment in Shenzhen, China. Although I will be learning Mandarin when I get there and have an interpreter I would like to learn some basics before I go. I am interested in learning Mandarin via once a week private lessons. Main interest is for business, since the company I work for is increasing its presence and business in China. I went to China first time in September 2005.
My native language is Brasilian Portuguese, I live in the USA for 6 years and also speak French and (used to) speak German. I speak Spanish and understand Italian, even though I never had formal instruction on those languages.
