I am a senior adult, with both personal and business interests in China. I do not speak any Mandarin, but find Chinese culture and history fascinating.
I would like to concentrate on beginning conversation, basic information (numbers, names etc) and take at least one lesson per week. I am enrolled in night school but am not able to attend consistently due to my personal schedule.
I prefer to take these lessons in the mornings or afternoons during the week.
I need a teacher who is patient, and willing to spend time working on sounds which may be difficult to a native Canadian. I don't expect to become fluent, but would be a great enrichment to my life if I could converse and understand basic conversation.

we prefer starting from the beginner. we want our foreign country managers to learn about how to speak mandarin in this country. we need particular in especially in conversations as they need to communicate with people. it really depends on the tutors themselves. we need someone who can teach mandarin. only speak but not written.
