To who might be interested,
i'm looking to find portuguese lessons, spoken and written, i am beginners level but speak spanish fluently. I would prefer to have the courses in a small group, once or twice a week, starting september 2004. My need comes from personal interest in this beautiful language and the interest of enriching my abilities. I'm looking for a motivated teacher who can share his knowledge effectively and intensively.

We just recently moved to Quebec City. I have 3 Children ages 14,16,and 16. We need instruction in speaking french for conversation and correct grammar. There would be 5 of us learning. None of us speak any French so we are definately beginners. We would like to learn to adapt to our new culture. About 6-8 hrs weekly.
Qualities : Fun, patient instructor. Practical usage to enable us to communicate and understand those around us.

I am interested in learning chinese language. Primary reason is, I want to spend couple of years in China. I am a beginner. I speak fluent English, Hindi and Malayalam. The time availability, it depends on the program offered and duration.
I should be able to read and talk chinese language. Teacher need to be patient to cope with a beginner who's 35 yrs old. Teacher must be sincere and I expect the teacher to know the historical facts and cultural ethics of china.

I am a beginner, wishing to speak conversationa l spanish. I have travelled to the Dominican Republic twice and will be returning there and to other spanish speaking countries. I have tried on-line lessons but feel the need for a class environment with other students and a teacher. I would like to take classes at least twice per week, with much more practice in between. I would like to commit to spanish lessons so as to converse fluently in spanish. I am looking for a teacher who is personable, approachable and very patient whose native language is spanish. I would prefer to be in a class environment with other students. I will not take lessons on a one on one basis in a private home, mine or theirs.
