I am a beginning level learner. I want to learn Swahili to be able to teach my daughter. We are from this country but we want her to learn a language from Africa. My daughter is two years old and we want to start now. We beleive the earlier she learns the language the better off she will be. We will need help in all areas of the language. We want to dedicate at least an hour a week to learn the language. We are looking for a teacher who is patient and willing to help teach a child learn the language as well.

My proficiency level right now is beginner. I want to learn arabic because I am interested in the middle eastern culture and will be heading off to college in the fall of next year to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies. I've actually bought a teach yourself software for arabic, but I am not understanding the alphabet or the writing forms which I think is the key to advancing within the language. I just got a job and have a set schedule where I will be off Sunday, Monday, and Thursday. I am looking to meetup with my instructor 2 to 3 times a week, but am willing to negotiate with the instructor. I am looking for an instructor that's dedicated, patient, and very knowledgable not only about the language but the culture as well.
