Have been learning tavellers Hindi for a couple of months and want to get beyond the basic questions and understand hindi better. I am going to Chennai for 1 week from October the 13th, 2004 and would like to do 1 on 1 lessons for 2 hours daily. I can not speak or understand Hindi. I am on a secondment in Bangalore from South Africa for 18 months. I would like to learn to speak Hindi. I will be able to spend 2 hours per week on lessons (1 hour class and 1 hour homework & exercises). I would like to receive handouts and training materials, but still like the classes to be very practical.
