I've recently moved to Berlin due to my work and I'm looking to intensively and effectively develop my German skills. It will enable me to communicate better with my colleges as well as improve my social life. I'm a very diligent person and highly motivated to learn the language. I'd like to focus a lot on conversationa l German
with vocabulary and context related to my work environment (management, retail), however a wider context is also a must as I'd like to enjoy the language outside work too :))
I'm looking for German classes or private tuition depending whether I manage to find the one which suits my needs most. I've been learning German long time ago and I'd say I've got some skills but
they are VERY limited. I'd call myself a beginner, although I know a little bit about verbs conjugation, articles and I know some vocabulary.
As I mentioned, I'd like to learn intensively. That means I'd be willing to take part in at least two meetings a week. Soon I'll work two shifts which means one week I'd prefer morning sessions while the other evening ones.
I'm able to achieve a lot as I've learnt English as a second language and now I hold a TrinityCert London in teaching English. However, now the time has come that I'm turning to German and I know that with the right push and a demanding tutor I'll progress rapidly.

Hello! I'm a 2nd year, English-speak ing university student studying in University College Utrecht and am looking for a tutor to help me improve my German language, as I'm struggling to keep up with my current classes (level B1/B2). I am comfortable with general conversations at a slower pace, have trouble with more intermediate level grammar and vocabulary, particularly when listening. I would also like to improve my conversationa l ability.
I am flexible with timings - I'm free on weekdays after 2pm, except for Thursdays. I'm also free at all times during the weekend. Depending on the fee, I'm hoping to have lessons at least once a week, tentatively lasting 90 minutes to 2 hours per lesson.
I would prefer to have classes in Utrecht where I live on campus, but am also open to meeting elsewhere if it's not too far or expensive to travel to. I am also open to lessons over Skype, if location is an issue.
