I want to learn Mandarin Chinese to the point of flawless fluency. I went to a boarding school and many of my friends are from Taiwan. I know simple phrases, but desperately want to know how to write Chinese characters. I also had a Czech teacher and Moldovan friend who spoke Russian although I have always been fascinated with the language. I intend on traveling to both China and Russia in the future and would like to speak both fluently. I am very good at languages (French, Spanish, English) and quick on the uptake. I would be willing to devote a lot of time to the learning of each language.
