Hello. My name is Claudia. I am a 28 year old elementary school teacher and I would really like to learn to speak Arabic fluently at some point in my life. I am definitely a beginner. I know about a handful of words in Arabic since I have visited Palestine, Egypt, Jordan, and Isreal. I would like to start with 1 lesson a week and depending on how it works out then I would be willing to try twice a week. I would like my teacher to be firm but flexible and easy to talk to. I have been studying Arabic for two years and I really need to improve my arabic, especially in the areas of speaking. I am interested in a number of dialects but have mostly been taught Egyptian Arabic. I am learning this language for career opportunities . I am looking for a tutor who would teach me Arabic in all areas, in order to increase my score on a proficiency exam. I would like to dedicate an hour a week to Arabic, because I will be taking other classes at the same time. I need a teacher who is patient but also will keep me challenged.
