I intend on spending 4mths in South america early next year and wish to be able to understand the natives and converse with them.

I wish to expand my knowledge of the spanish language so that I may communicate freely with native speakers in Latin America. My emphasis will be mostly on speach and vocabulary, which will work to naturally strengthen my reading and writing abilities. Verb conjugation and vocabulary should be my biggest challenge. I am thinking seriously of migrating to Mexico, so a teacher who has lived and/or learned there would be great.
I am ready to spend between 5 and 10 hours/week for a 2 to three month period depending on my progress.

Hello! We are seeking private lessons in our home in San Jose, CA (downtown near SJSU) in Spanish and French two times per week for two children, ages 5 and 7. Mom would like to sit in on classes as well! The children understand and speak very simple Spanish (colors, numbers, etc.) but no French. We are seeking a tutor who genuinely enjoys working with children and can make the lessons fun. Our goal is to make our children not only bilingual but also biliterate in at least three languages (English -- our native language, Spanish and French). Flexible schedule. Fun family.
