Hi!
I'm currently an undergraduate student at Wayne State University in Detroit. I've just begun learning the Latin language through the school, though I've quickly noticed the level of difficulty which accompanies this process. As I am a beginner, I would hope to acquire and improve upon all aspects that surround the learning-proc ess, though at this point the focus seems to be grammar and sentence-stru cture.
I currently attend Latin courses 4 times per week, though only for an hour at a time. The lack of one-on-one or individualize d teaching sessions seems to impair my ability to fully understand certain concepts with this language, and I don't want to fall behind!
I would hope to dedicate up to an hour per day with a Latin tutor, though this does not include time taken to complete assignments. I would also hope to find a tutor who is knowledgeable in the Latin language, and who is confident in their methods of instruction (my current teacher seems to lack this).
I look forward to learning this beautiful and ancient language, and hope to find a tutor who can help me do so!
