I am a doctor from the Philippines who will be staying in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Kaohsiung for at least a year. I have been here for almost a month already and I get frustrated not being able to understand the conferences, the patients and esp. not being able to order the food I want. I am even afraid of going out of the hospital to explore because I can't understand a thing (& vice versa).
I am desperately looking for someone who can teach Chinese on a flexible schedule. Preferably at night (7:30PM onwards)on weekdays or on weekends because its the only free time I have.
I would appreciate it if I could know the Fee and the curriculum.

I'm in a beginner level of Mandarin learning, now i'm studying Mandarin 2 hours a day in Taipei. But I want to study more Mandarin because I really want to be able to communicate. I'm a foreign teacher in Taichung City. I've recently started taking Mandarin lessons at the local University and am looking for a private tutor during the weekend or early afternoons (1-3pm)on weekdays. I am at the beginner, although I can speak a little. I need improvement in conversation and vocabulary. Maybe a little help with characters. I am already familiar with Bopomofo but not Pinyin.
