I am a college student with an active interest in linguistics.
I have taken courses in Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Turkish, and Latin.
One of my majors is mathematics and I have done research in mathematical models and patterns in relation to linguistics and demographics. I especially enjoy Norse culture and I would really like to learn at least intermediate level Chinese.
I take a full course load but I am dedicated to learning languages.

I am of Norwegian heritage and would like to learn the language. I have no knowledge of the language at this time. I am a geology PhD student at the Univeristy of Manchester undertaking research in conjunction with Norsk Hydro and StatOil. I have to spend at least 3 months of each year either in Stavanger or Bergen. I am a beginner and would like to focus on conversationa l Norwegian primarily. I also wish to study the written language as well. I am looking to spend a couple of hours a week on lessons. I need a teacher who is flexible with their working hours (daytime, evenings, weekends) as I am often away on field trips. Norwegian does not have to be your native language.
