My native language is Greek. I have done some private courses of swedish language a few years ago, so I am in begginer level. I need to learn this language in order to extend my career opportunities . I am a doctor and I am interesting on improving academic and fluent swedish. Because I am working as a locum outside London, I can dedicate week-ends for the moment. An absolute beginner, I have no knowledge of any Swedish, I do speak a little French and German.
I will be relocating to Sweden next winter for 5 months in order to train and race my sleddogs. It is my intention to do this each winter for the foreseeable future.
I wish to be able to converse in Swedish and read it, to a lesser degree. I feel a good grasp of basic grammar, sentence construction and the ability to hold a conversation is my target.
I took early retirement last year and therefore have plenty of time to dedicate to study.

My name is Daniel Venne. In 1975 I lived with a family in Sweden for a year as a forign exchange student. At that time I learned the language pretty well.
