Hello , I am placing this ad because I wish to continue my studies in the Chinese language. I would like to learn both mandarin and cantonese but, mandarin first. I have already studied it some and feel that I am not a beginner but I am not quite intermediate. I wish to learn chinese for personal gratification , and possibly in the future, career advancement. I need improvement in all areas including grammar, conversation, and character writing. 2 to 3 days a week is the amount of time I would like to spend on lessons.
The only quality I wish for my teacher to have is that they are fluent or near fluent in both chinese and english.

This teaching is for my son who is 11 years old. He has some language ability and has been to china a number of times and has some exposure to the language on a daily basis as i am chinese, however i wish for him to devolop his skills in a more formal way.
