My daughter is interested in becoming fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She has taken lessons for 1 and 1/2 years. She is now 11 years old and has a basic level of understanding . We need an instructor who is able to take her through the process of becoming fluent by setting goals for each step and measureing her progress to make sure that material is understood. We are looking for a native speaking teacher who is good with teaching children and teaches with enthusiam as well as makes it fun. We are also looking for a teacher who lives in Atlanta and will come to her school, or our home. We may be able to come to the teachers location if it is not too far from school, or home during the week day. We are also open to getting lessons on the weekends. We are interested in taking lessons twice a week. She is very interested in the Chinese culture ans loves languages. My daughter is a good student and with the right teacher she will become fluent someday.

My proficiency level is intermediate. Basically, I speak Hu Pei, so i can speak and understand mandarin to a certain degree. But Im not so fluent in it so i need to have someone to converse in person.
2 to 3 hrs a week..
The teacher should speak Chinese like a native chinese, and not with an english or indian accent.
