Hello,
We are 2 French people, Claire GUERAUD and Samuel ANGONIN.
We are interested in having Chinese Courses.
We arrived in China on October 2009. We first stayed 3 months in Beijing, studying Chinese in a school (Hutong School), and traveling around Beijing. Then we traveled around China for 1 month.
Now we are in Chengdu and we want to take again 3 weeks Chinese lessons to improve our Chinese language. We have an intermediate level : we learnt basic spoken Chinese and 600 caracters for writting Chinese. Since we are traveling, we practice our spoken everyday Chinese.
W e are motivated to study in Chengdu, particularly in a big class to meet people who have the same goal.
We are interrested in begin class on Monday, February 27th.

I lived in Hong Kong for many years until about 13 years ago. When I left Hong Kong, my Cantonese was very good - I could talk with anyone, understand TV and radio, with only a little difficulty. However, in the intervening 10 years I have not used the language, and now find that it has deteriorated badly, to the extent where I cannot understand TV programs, and have problems putting sentences together in a proper (understandab le) format.
I would like to spend a couple of hours a week immersing myself in the language, listening to broadcasts and having them explained to me, and doing some general conversation.
