Actually I need a teacher for my children. I would like to have a teacher who can speak English too, Singaporean would be perfect. My children learned the simplified Mandarin when we lived in Singapore. Thus I would like them to continue learning the language. I would like my children know how to speak as well as write Mandarin.

I am looking for a Mandarin native speaking teacher for an after school program at an elementary school to start as early as January 2005. We are looking for someone who has experience with a thoroughly planned curriculum, which includes the use of stories, songs, etc. to teach the children the Mandarin language. We plan to hold the classes twice a week, either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday, from 2pm to 3pm. There is a possibility in expansion of the program to five days a week depending on interest. Class size will depend on enrollment but is estimated to be between 10 to 15 students.
