I am currently a bilingual as i can only speak Bahasa Malaysia and English. But im very much interested in learning other languages starting with mandorin/cant onese as it is widely spoken too. I am willing to spend 2 hours per week for my classes, which i hope to focus more on conversation. I look for practicality rather than formality so that i will be able to speak with other native speakers. I am looking for a qualified and experienced teacher who can give me private lessons with proven results.

I am a beginner level speaker of Mandarin. I have been studying for one year using Pimsleurs CDs and have also attended classes at a local language academy.
M y wife and I have two children, one is adopted from Guangchang, China. I am interested in finding an instructor who can meet with our whole family (4 people) and help us all to learn basic Chinese (spoken and maybe some simplified characters).
I believe we will be able to meet once a week with an instructor for a 2 hour class. Where and when we meet is negotiable. I am looking for an instructor that enjoys children and is comfortable teaching to a small group.
