I want to learn Norwegian fluently because my mother is norwegian and her whole family lives in Norway. I would like to live here one day, as I am a citizen. I am currently a beginner, and I took a 60 week course at the university. I would like to focus on conversation most. I want to be fairly advanced after 3 months of lessons so I am willing to dedicate a lot of time to my lessons. I am looking for someone who can help me we my ability to converse deeply with others in norwegian and help me expand my vocabulary.

1) My husband and I wish to learn Norwegian in order to continue our studies in Norway and hopefully settle in there.
2) We are totally beginners.
3 ) We are interested in Norwegian writing, grammar, conversation. In short, we wish to become fluent in Norwegian.
4 ) As of June 2010, we can take TWO 1.5-hour classes a week, OR THREE 1-hour classes a week, and dedicate 5 to 6 hours a week to homework.
5) We would like to have live online lessons via Skype with a somewhat experienced instructor in teaching Norwegian as a foreign language (language instruction for beginners prepared for English speaking persons).
We would like the teaching material to be in both English and Norsk (PDF format files would be great), but if this is not possible we'll try to manage. Text contents preferably focused on everyday language but also on school language. We wish to be able to write, read and talk about ourselves, about our interests, as well as to express in shops, at restaurants and in everyday life in general.

I have moved from Rngland afetr marrying a Norwegian.
I want to learn Norwegian so I can find a Job which uses English and Norwegian.
I think I need to start as a beginner although I can guess some Norwegian words and understanding them.
I need to put it as much time as I can and quickly as I can to start working here in Oslo.
I would like a teacher who can teach me Norwegian in English and who can provide books etc..
I can also buy books if need be..
