Japa nese: Completed Beginner's course, but I have found that I have forgotten most of my education after I have stopped practice for over a year.

I want to learn french because I have been to paris and realised that i couldn't communicate with any one there. I took french before in my first year of studies and it seems to me that i have learnt nothing. Also, I would love to go to paris more often and maybe live there in future aftr getting my career , thus learning french would be an advantage for me.
