Hello,
I am half Ethiopian and half American, and am very interested in learning the amharic language. I grew up in the US and unfortunately did not learn amharic while growing up. I have taught myself all that I know thus far, but am extremely eager to become fluent in the language.
I'm interested more so in learning how to speak. I know much of the fidel and have been teaching myself to read and write.

Good Afternoon,
My name is Josaphat and I am extremely interested in learning Haitian Kreyol and Amharic. My reasons for wanting to learn this language in particular? 1) I am of Haitian descent but never learned the language. I am willing to dedicate several hours per week to this study. At least 1 or 2 hours daily. I would like my teacher to be patient of course and a native of Haiti/Ethiopi a. I would also appreciate a teacher who felt obligated to go beyond the language and instruct on culture and traditions as well.

I have a conversationa l knowledge of amharic. I am a second-genera tion ethiopian, born and raised in Oregon. I, along with some freinds at my college, would like to become fully proficient at reading, writing, and speaking amharic. I have the accent and can understand everyday conversation.
