I am currently a student learning Spanish in school and I am interested in learning Chinese. Not only will it help me when start appling to colleges but I am also very interested with the Chinese customs and launguage. I have no experience with the launguage and know nothing about it. I hope to find a teacher who is located in Pittsburgh and even better in the Oakmont or New Kensington area. I am a beginner, although I do know some basic words.
I am wishing to learning Mandarin, because my girlfriend is from Tiawan. I just spent 2 weeks there to meet her parents. Next year when I go back I want to converse with them more without interpretatio n.
I would like to spend 6 to 8 hours a week with my lessons or more.
I really need someone that is patient, because I am a visual learner and I need to associate words with objects to help me remember.

I have been studying Arabic since June 2007 and recently had to drop from Arabic II at Pitt but would like to continue to study on my own time with a private tutor, as well as through the summer if I can afford to do so.
I would like to go to graduate school in Cairo and so would like to become more proficient at Arabic prior to doing so.
I have a really busy schedule and am looking for someone who would be understanding of that.
