I'm a PhD student at York University and need to improve my Urdu before I go to Pakistan to do my fieldwork. I have basic knowledge of Urdu but need more practice with the language. Ideally, I would like to work on all areas, including reading, writing and speaking. As of yet, I'm not sure how much time I'll be able to dedicate to the lessons. I would like my teacher to be proficient in both Punjabi and Urdu and I would prefer a female tutor.

I can read Arabic letters, but that's it! I have zero proficiency!
