I have moved to Dusseldorf from Florida for work, where the lingua france is English. I particularly would like to communicate in everyday situations in shops, etc.
I have had several German courses, but quite long ago; my level is perhaps advanced beginner, with some basic vocabulary and grammar concepts, all needing practice in any case.
I can dedicate up to an hour per day of self study; to start, I would like to fit in two lesson /week with teacher, if practical.
I would appreciate compassion and sense of humor from my teacher.
