Last December I passed the 3kyu of the JLPT. I have been living in Japan for the past 5 years and have been seriously studying for 2 years. I have recently finished studying Minna No Nihongo book 2.
My biggest weakness is my lack of vocabulary. I want to improve my vocabulary and my communication skills.

I want to learn As much as I can and as much as I need to. Speaking, Reading, and Writing! Some History on the country, What is proper and what is not proper, Reading streets signs, watching a Japanese movie without the english subtiles, Learning the currancy, Learning the proper language to have a conversation. ..and more!
I am looking for a KIND teacher that is willing to take as much time as I need to learn this language! I want a teacher that is able to give me some of there background
o n how they came to learn this language(weat her born in Japan or if they are selftaught)
I am looking to meet two or three times a week at a public place like a libary or book store!!

I am a beginner who has tried to teach myself, but I desire to make greater progress, which I know I will with a Japanese tutor.
I want to learn Japanese so I can go to Japan on an extended stay. I am highly motivated and eager to learn the language. I would put in at least 3 hours a week [including the tutoring session(s)].
I desire a tutor who is polite and patient and who can sometimes see the humor in things. I am especially interested in learning conversationa l Japanese, spoken as well as written.
