My dad is Thai and my is from Laos. I was adopted by an American family at the age of seven and haven't seen my parents since.
I am trying to plan a trip to Thailand around March to visit my dad and thought it would be good if I learned a little bit of Thai before I go.
I don't know any Thai at all. I might remember a little bit from when I was a child, but if my memory is correct, my parents tried to speak only English to me while I was at home.
I would like to have about a once a week lesson until March, or possibly one every two weeks.

I would love to live in Thailand with my girlfriend and family and so speaking reading and writing Thai is essentail for both love, family and career opportunties long term. I have been travelling many times but never needed to use much Thai as the tourist areas are ok with broken English however my girlfriend family only speak Thai and I want to communicate with them well. I have tried to learn by myself from books but the tonal nature of Thai language ,makes it difficult especially with an Australian accent. So learning basics and phrases to communicate in sentences and phrases instead of one word answers (and the abilitiy to ask questions and make a conversation would be greatly appreciated i am sure.
