I studied French for two semesters at university and absolutely loved the language. However, that was more than two years ago and I'm afraid that I've forgotten most of it. Even so, I think I'll be able to pick up the basics quickly. I've enjoyed learning languages since I was young and would love to master another language. Since I have a rather busy job schedule, I am looking for a tutor for perhaps once or twice a week after work hours or on weekends. Flexibility is important for me. I would prefer a teacher who has a sound lesson plan and structure to the lessons. Naturally, I would prefer for the class to be enjoyable as well but I am looking for a teacher and not a mere language partner.

I arrived in Zhongshan 1 month ago, and I am going to live here. I would like to learn Mandarin to be able to communicate with everyone. For the moment, I have tried to learn by my-self with a book and CD. I am looking for a teacher to give me lessons at home (because I have a baby)twice a week. I would like to study Arabic here in Beijing. I work full time, so I guess a private tutor would be the best way of learning for me.
My level is total beginner. I don't really need to learn Arabic for professional reasons, I just feel intellectual curiosity.
