I am a beginner learner and have been interested in learning Hebrew for a few months now. Since I have been with my boyfriend David who is Jewish I always hear his parents speaking in Hebrew and I always found the language interesting. The style of writing and reading from right to left instead of the English way of left to right seems like a new challenge. I really don’t know why but since I was kid I always wanted to learn Hebrew but I never really started to think seriously about it until I met David. The areas I need particular improvement are everything, I’m a beginner all I know is Alef, Bet, Gimmel.
I am willing to dedicated as much time as need as long as it is between 3:00 and 7:00 depending on where the place we are meeting is. But I am willing to go as many or as little days as necessary.
T he qualities I would look for in a teacher was someone who is experienced with older children because I am 13. I would like someone who is a good encourager and very patient and explains things well.

Want to study full-time until end of May 2007. Quality in teacher will be: Accent of Portuguese as spoken in Portugal. Qualities in lesson will be: (1) homework assignments focusing on learning conjugation of verbs (including aspects) and usage of these verbs in writing and in conversation, and (2) vocabulary-bu ilding.
