Actually, I want to learn how to speak Mandarin because my girlfriend is Chinese and her family and relatives speak Mandarin, and I don't want to be a totally speechless dork in front of them when I get to visit them in December. Probably, I just need to learn how to make or get into a conversation in Mandarin, and answer questions.
Currently, I'm taking ECE so I don't have much time learning the language, but I'm free every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday and the whole Summer.
I' m not that choosy when it comes to a particular instructor. He or she just have to be well mannered and encouraging. That would be all!

I would like to learn Chinese (mandarin), Japanese and Arabic. Currently I am learning French and I think I am becoming good at it. I have some knowledge of Spanish.
I hope to learn all these languages to help me make a career shift to the translating field and the international development sector.
I know myself to be dedicated to anything I set my mind on doing. I go to Manila every Saturday for my French lessons so I hope to take lessons on another language on the same day.

I will soon move on to Qindao because of my work. I will be living there for the next 4 or 5 years and I would like to find a Chinese Mandarin teacher. I have never studied Chinese before so it will be a great chance for me.
I know is hard to learn Chinese grammar for occidental people, so a basic level of speaking and understanding at the begining will be enough for me.
I could take lessons in Spanish-Chine se or English-Chine se. It´s up to teacher´s decision. And my idea is to take lessons during the 4 or 5 years that I will be in China, so it is a great opportunity for a teacher in order to get a long-term relation with a pupil.
I´ll be in Qingdao around May, so don´t let go this offer and contact me now!
