The reason i want to learn is because my four year old son is profoundly deaf and we can not communicate with one another. My name is Crissy Speer, i'm from san antonio Texas, and I am deaf/hard of hearing. I met a great guy from swedish and we will be living soon together. he promised me he will learn sign language if i learn swedish. I dont know much on swedish .. lol only words i know is lyckosam flicka .... and god natt. hej =D and.... thats it lol. I am a full time student and i'm at a 3.657 gpa. I would like to know swedish so I can understand my boyfriend's ffamily when we go meet. at first i would like to learn how to write it out and understand it by writing it. Since i am hard of hearing. Once I know the language by reading it. and writing it, then I would like to learn how to speak it. I dont really need help speaking it. But I would like help reading and writing it. I dont have a lot of money, but I am willing to learn and I can pay, just dont understand the pound you gives per 60 mins. i only know $ =D.
