I am a beginner student in Eastern Armenian, and I am looking for a teacher to help me develop in that dialect. The Armenian community that I am involved with only speaks Western Armenian. I have experienced the language barrier before between Eastern and Western dialects, and I would like to practice in the Eastern dialect before doing research in Armenian.

I have learned Eastern Armenian I by the Pimsleur Language Program. My daughter and I live in Glendale, CA and are surrounded by Armenian people, culture and language. We want to communicate to all of our neighbors amd friends.
I already speak fluent English and Spanish. I have studied Italian, French and American Sign Language.
I am able to listen to casettes during the day. I would like to have a lesson once a week with my daughter who is 10.
We prefer a tutor whose native language is Eastern Armenian but we will consider Western Armenian.

I'm Wissam Al-Aethawi, 27, a civil engineer from Baghdad/Iraq. I'd like to have lessons in Armenian because I want to use it in communication with the many Armenian people here. It's too important that I have at least the minimum of it. Please, I'm already taking lessons from various websites but I'm still a beginner. Any bit of information in this language would be very useful to me. If I can take lessons via e-mail, I'll dedicate an average of 3 hours in home reviewing them.
