I'm interested in learning Farsi. I am on a beginner level. I'm interested in learning the language because I love foreign languages, I love learning new things, and I love to travel. I want to learn how to read, write, and speak Farsi. I would like to dedicate a about 2 - 4 hours per week on my language lessons. The qualities in a teacher I'm looking for is someone who is very knowledgable in the language as well as the culture. Also, someone who is willing to us every minute of our lessons to the fullest of their ability. I want to learn as much as I can.

I have not yet began to learn persian but i am going to school for home land security and would like to learn a new language that is not spoken often. I am avaliable nights and weekends for learning this beautiful language. I just want a teacher who knows how to teach in a fun and exciting mannor.

I am at a beginner level. My family is from Yazd, Iran but I never picked up Dari or Farsi from them. I am fluent in Hindi, Marathi and Gujrati. I want to be able to converse fluently in Farsi. I would like someone who would teach patiently and am able to dedicate 2 hrs a week to go for classes and approx 5 hrs a week at home to practice.

Hello,
my name is Suse, I am a children's doctor from Germany currently working & living in Australia.
I would like to learn persian for private reasons (the city where I come from in Germany is partnertown of Isfahan - so maybe I travel there some time....) I am a beginner.
Ta king private lessons probably works best for me (as I am working shifts in the hospital), maybe on a fortnightly basis.
Would be nice to find a persian teacher via this forum.
