I a beginner. I am interested in basic conversationa l hindi so that I can ask directions and understand the answers, order food, and interact with ordinary Indians without English skills. I am not interested in learning complex tenses, grammar, or vocabulary that nobody really uses. If there is an English word that's commonly used, I don't want to memorize the Hindi word. I was just posted in New Delhi last month and would like to start studying Hindi, which I have never learnt before.
I would like to have class at my office in Lajpat Nagar or at my residence in Defence colony, or at teacher's house.
If teacher can come to my office, then I would like to have class between 1330-1430, about tree times a week.
(depen ding upon teacher's schedule though)
I would like to be able to communicate with my office people in Hindi as some of them do not understand English.
