I want to learn Malayalam as I am living here for several months and will probably return in the future - I would like to be able to speak the language and communicate better with the people I work with.
I am a beginner; I have learned the Malayalam characters (except all conjunct consonant forms) and can read very slowly. I have learned a few basic phrases like 'What is your name?'.
I want to be able to carry out a conversation and learn more vocabulary and how the grammatical system works.
I would want to dedicate 1 hour per week for a lesson and 2 hours per week studying.
I would like a teacher who can explain how the language works, can organise lessons in a structured way, give me homework and keep me accountable so I learn.
