I have no experience in Russian whatsoever. I am a beginner. I would like to learn Russian for career advancement and opportunities . Being in the oil/gas refining industry I feel that this is one of the most important languages necessary. Not sure on how much time I have/need to devote. I am a BEGINNING (as in absolutely no experience) Russian learner. I have taken a few years of French, a semester of Japanese and studied and worked abroad (Mexico) and majored in Spanish. I would like to spend a few hours a week learning Russian as I have a Russian kindergarten student in my class who is very limited in English. My husband and I are also planning to travel to St. Petersburg next fall and I would like to have some conversationa l Russian under my belt. I am looking for a Russian instructor who is willing to work with me to get some conversationa l phrases as well as some survival phrases for my class as well as for travel.
