I have a degree in Russian studies and I studied the Russian language for years. However, I never use it and I want to maintain what I do remember, and expand on what I know. I would like to be fluent one day, or at least reach a point where I can be confident in carrying on a conversation.
I would say that my proficiency level at this point is low intermediate. I have a decent vocabulary, but my conversationa l skills are low. I want to dedicate a few hours a week to my language lessons.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient, but at the same time is not afraid to push me.

I really dont have much to say except that in terms of languages they fascinate me, I hope to learn Spanish and French in the next 2 years and it would be nice if I could learn to read Latin and Ancient Greek in the next 2 years. I already speak fluetn Russian, although it is strongly rusty. My problem is that I grew up in Canada and so never learned to read Russian (besides what I taught myself), this is embarrassing for me and I want to fix it by taking instruction.

I have always been interested in learning new languages. I want to advance myself in as many ways possible in order to secure myself in new job opportunities .
I am a beginner.
Seeing as I have very little experience, I would say grammar and general conversation skills.
Appr oximately 2/4 hours a week on language lessons until I feel comfortable with what I have learned and am capable of having meaningful conversations .
