Sawutdee ka! I have just moved to Korea after living in Bangkok for one year. I learned some Thai in Thailand and I don't want to forget it all. I would say my ability level is beginner/inte rmediate - I can introduce myself, order food, ask for directions, barter and I have some basic vocabulary. I am also familiar with the Thai alphabet (although reading is difficult because of the tones and I'm a little rusty on some of the more complex vowels).
I would like to improve my conversation, practice my pronunciation - especially the tones, learn more advanced grammar, verb tenses, increase my vocabulary. Everything really! In Thailand I was entirely send taught using a book and mp3 called Teach Yourself Thai, so maybe you can help guide me on what I should work on!
I would like to know more about how online lessons would work because I live in quite a remote location and I work Monday to Friday. It might be possible for me to visit Seoul or Suwon occasionally, but if other methods work (and depending on cost) I would like to study for up to a few hours a week.
I would like lessons to be fun, engaging and motivating. I would also like verbal interaction and feedback because it is so easy to make tonal mistakes.
