I am a beginner, I use Rosetta Stone and on line cds which I listen to in my car. I can say sentences like I want to go to the store..ect. but find it does not help much when actually talking to people. I am a photographer and would love to be able to talk to people better than 'look here' Let me know if you can help. My 14 year old son will be participating in a Computer Science class at UCF for 3 weeks (july 11th - 29th). While I am staying with him in Orlando, I would like to continue studying Spanish. I have studied in college (long ago), have spent 6 weeks in Peru with family and have studied several summers in Costa Rica with my family. I am a beginner to intermediate speaker. I understand present, past, imperfect but rarely use conditional and subjunctive tenses when speaking. During my time in Costa Rica, i would meet with my Spanish instructor for 4 hours each day, Monday through Friday and speak only Spanish. I find a make a small jump each time I'm required to only speak Spanish. I am hoping to not only increase my vocabulary, but i would also like to improve my ability to understand native speakers. I would be interested in meeting with someone Tuesday through Friday from 1pm to 3pm to practice Spanish. I also have the Destinos Nuevos curriculum which can be used as a guide to study.

I have never taken Tigrinya before. I want to learn to be able to provide a voluntary community service to Eritrean imigrants in my home town of Philadelphia. I would like to take a class one to two times a week for 2 to 3 hours a session. My instructor should be willing to help me learn vocabulary in a swift manner.
