Both my wife and I are complete beginners wishing to learn Gujarati in order to be able to communicate with our soon to be adopted daughter. Our goal is to be in a position to converse, on at least a rudimentary level, with a 4-year old child when we travel to India in February or March of 2007. We would then likely wish to continue our studies following our return. We are looking for a serious and responsible teacher who is willing to work closely with us. Thank you.
