I am a total beginner. I would like to learn farsi to be able to speak to my father in his native language. Now that I am in the DC area, I have noticed that there are a lot of farsi speakers.
I could spent an hour or so in the class room and several hours practicing.
I am looking for a teacher that is patient, reliable and has a good style of teaching that can keep me interested.

I knew Farsi as a young child. When I began elementary school I slowly lost the language.
I want to learn Farsi to learn who I am and where I came from. I would also like to communicate with my family; they want that as much as I do.
I would like to start as a beginner. I need improvement in every area.
