I visit Indonesia frequently and have picked up some basic grammar and vocabulary. However, I am far from fluent and would like to learn from someone who has experience teaching either Indonesian or Malaysian. I would like to correct my pronounciatio n and understand the grammar better. I am aiming to be able to read and understand the newspaper and have intermediate level conversations with people in a casual and work environment (I import goods from Indonesia). I am looking for a teacher who could dedicate 1-3 hours a week with me. I prefer to meet in person but am also open to online lessons, video conferences, etc. The ideal teacher would be personable, patient, and have experience teaching these languages to an English speaker.

I am to travel to Argentina to work from January to March. I have only just started to learn Spanish but I am doing it from a book and it is not going very well at all. I need something very intensive and effective. One to one tuition would be ideal. I am currently living at York University just outside Toronto .
