I am looking for a Greek teacher for my 6 year old child. My child has a very basic understanding of a few Greek words only.
I would like the emphasis to be on conversation rather than written Greek.
I would prefer the lessons to be in our home and to be one or two lessons per week.
The teacher must be experienced in teaching a young child.

I am a beginner in the Greek language and I want to learn because my father is Greek but never spoke to me in Greek when I was growing up. I am looking for lessons once a week for up to two hours with a teacher who is understanding and able to challenge me yet also to teach to my abilities. I have a friend who is in a similar position to me and we would like to learnt together. We both have a basic understanding of the language and have just finished a basic course but have had no further experience.

I am a native English speaker and a speaker of German, Dutch, and French. Learning and teaching languages is a passion of mine; I have also taught English, German, and French. Now I am motivated to begin to learn Greek because my boyfriend is Greek. My goals are to learn some basics. The most important are speaking and listening, but I also would like to learn basic reading and writing. I live and work in Amsterdam. I am open to an exchange (Greek lessons for English lessons, for example), as well as to regular payment for lessons.

I need to learn greek language, as i live in Greece together with my husband of greek nationality and a small son whom i need to teach greek also. I have A level og greek, graduated the courses of greek language in Aristotle university a year ago. I can read, write and understand greek, and need to improve my conversations l greek. I need private lesson 2-3 times a week. I would accept any methods of a teacher if they are effective in my knowledge of greek.
