I was born in Australia and only speak english however due to personal reasons I feel it necessary and a matter of respect that I learn Urdu so I may be able to converse fluently and understand Urdu within my family. I require to learn everything to do with grammar and speech.
It is extremely important to learn Urdu and as such will devote much time to lessons and self-learning . To me having a patient and understanding teacher is important and would help to facilitate my successful learning. The teacher should also be friendly and dedicated to teaching.

Hello,
I would like an Urdu tutor for my son, Rayyan, who is 7 years old. Rayyan can understand Urdu and reads Quran and speaks in English. I would like a tutor to teach Rayyan Urdu language basics, grammar, and conversation.
I would like the tutor to teach Rayyan over Skype in the afternoon time (Pacific Time) in California 2-3X/week.

I am a paediatrician based in Salisbury but involved in teaching and research at the Aga Khan University in Karachi
Thou gh my colleagues there are largely fluent in English, I very much want to, and feel I should, be able to speak (and ideally read) Urdu at a basic level
Ideally I would like a mixture of personal (1 to 1) and online /phone/skype teaching and would like to learn the language grammaticaaly rather than at a purely situational level
