I am a beginner wanting to learn Nepali to help in resettling Nepali refugees to Chicago. I would like to be able to speak and understand Nepali to better communicate with the refugees. Since I work in non-profit, I do not have a lot of money for classes so I might not be able to have as many classes as I'd like. I am looking for a teacher who is patient and can help me with good pronunciation .

I do not speak one word of Nepali, so I am a complete beginner. Since I will be moving to Nepal in about six months, I would like to have at least a basic understanding of the language before I leave. I would dedicate as much time as is required, but ideally I would like to meet in person two or three times a week. As far as a tutor goes, I am looking for someone who is patient, and has a flexible schedule.
