I am a beginner and really want to become proficient in all aspects of the Thai language from reading and writing to proper speaking.
I want to learn because I have many friends I have met from there and I keep going back to Thailand (3 times in 9 months) and find it a bit frustrating that I can't communicate efficiently. This is my fault as I have not taken the time yet to learn.
I want to spend a lot of time learning the language. I have already purchased several different books, CD's and software programs to assist me though I have only been using them for about 1 month.
I am looking for someone who can be patient and will make learning fun. Thai I realize is a very difficult language and if it isn't fun, I am not sure if I would be as motivated as I am now.

I am just beggining to speak Thai. I lived in Thailand for 5 months and know all the basics (cold, hot, come here, go away, what are you thinking?, what are you doing?, do you want to come?, go where?, where is...?, are you hungry?, i am so hungry, i am very full, this food is so good, you are so beautiful, i love you, i miss you, are you ok?, that's enough, i like, i dont like, i dont want, i do want, ect.) I can even count 1-999. i want to learn thai because i plan to move to thailand and would like to know the language. I want to study Thai as much as possible. Every day if possible.
