Hello Teachers,
I am a language teacher myself, and I have recently moved to Moscow to teach here. So, it would be nice to learn Russian so I can talk with the people and make some new friends.
I learnt a little before I came here, and I'm pretty good at learning grammar, so I'm probably around Elementary. I'm looking mainly for speaking lessons, and lessons to help me communicate.

* I am learning Russian and Ukrainian together.
* Reason being that I interact with Ukrainians on a daily basis, as part of my job. But interaction is limited due to language barrier. Another reason being an interest in different culture & way of life around the world.
* Current proficiency is beginner.

Hello
My wife and I are travelling to Moscow and St Petersburg in August 2012. We want to be able to exchange common day-to-day courtisies with people, ask directions, find subway stations , order food etc.
Our existing knowledge level of Russion is NIL.
Apart from the need to recognize major signs we do not see a need for reading or writing skills in Russian.
We are looking for lessons for the 2 of us, on the North side of Brisbane.

I need to practice and improve my conversationa l Russian so I can pass a language exam via telephone.
At one point my Russian was pretty good (intermediate /advanced) but I am out of practice and very rusty.
I am looking to take 1-2 lessons per week (depending on cost, length, and location).
While I am most interested in improving my conversationa l ability, I would like a teacher who can properly address questions of grammar and usage -- i.e., someone who is not only a native speaker but also has experience and preferably training in foreign language instruction.
