Hello,
I am looking for a teacher of Farsi for private lessons. I am able to speak Farsi fairly well at conversationa l level as Farsi is my mother tongue. However, my main aim is to be able to speak,read and write Farsi fluently.
I understand that to achieve the level I desire, my commitment to a regular and lengthy programme will be necessary and I am willing to devote a couple of hours per week to study and learn Farsi.
I am looking for a friendly and patient teacher who is prepared to provide homework and ongoing support - in return I will be a dedicated and keen student. I am also prepared to trade my knowledge of English language and literature that I have studied at A level and Sociology which I have a degree in. I

I attended a beginners and a second class in Farsi in Germany and would like to extend my knowledge of the language since I now live in Iran. I would like to learn better how to read and write in Farsi and to improve my vocabulary and grammar.
F or a start, I'd like to take lessons twice a week, either as a private student or with a group of other students.
The teacher I'm looking for should be experienced in teaching foreign students.

To Whom It May Concern:
I have no proficiency in Farsi whatsoever. I've tried via various web sites to begin learning the alphabet, but it's all too overwhelming on my own. I have thus come to the conclusion that to meet my new year's resolution of learning Farsi, I will require a skilled teacher. As I have a full-time job and am also enrolled in college classes, I feel that it would be unrealistic for me to schedule more than two classes in Farsi per week, for which I would be able to set aside an hour to an hour and a half per lesson. My teacher must be a fluent speaker/reade r/writer of Farsi, and able to communicate effectively that which I must know to become myself a fluent speaker/reade r/writer of same. Lessons should be challenging without being stultifying. I hope someone will contact me soon. Thank you!
